Warhammer 40,000 Eternal Crusade will be an MMO third-person online shooter for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The bloody trailer now shows where the Alpha currently stands and slaughters.
The Warhammer universe is full of gigantic battles in both Fantasy and SF variants and power fantasies. It’s actually the ideal breeding ground for an MMO. And indeed, after cancellation of the Fantasy variant, the SF edition is bubbling away diligently.
In September, the closed alpha of Eternal Crusade started. The game is still under an NDA, so little is heard about it. It is officially set to release in 2016. They see themselves as an MMO third-person shooter – similar to Planetside 2.
The game has now released a remarkably bloody trailer to show curious people what they are missing if they do not participate in a founder’s package and to keep the attention high. The trailer used actual material from the Alpha of the game, as they assure:
It looks quite bloody what is happening there. Can they maintain the targeted PEGI 16 rating with that?
