The cooperative shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is set to receive a full year of free updates bringing new content. Now, the game’s developers have showcased what these updates will bring in a video.
What kind of content is coming? Saber Interactive has announced a range of new content for Space Marine 2 for the coming year, including a Season Pass that lets you don the armor of a legendary Space Marine legion.
In the next update, the cooperative shooter is also set to receive a new PvE operation where you must fight the largest and most terrifying Tyranid yet: the Hierophant Bio-Titan. Additionally, a new difficulty level will present an even greater challenge.
Overall, various new weapons, missions, enemies, PvP expansions, and a horde mode are expected in the coming months. One of the new weapons will be the “Neo-Volkite Pistol,” described as a thermal pistol.

The First Legion of Space Marines
What is this legendary legion? The Season Pass brings various content themed around the “Dark Angels” – including armor pieces, weapon styles, and color schemes.
The Dark Angels are legendary in the Warhammer 40,000 universe because they were the first legion of Space Marines created by the Emperor. They include well-known figures such as Primarch Lion El’Jonson and Commander Azrael.
Unlike the Ultramarines, the armor of the Dark Angels is not characterized by a blue hue, but is primarily depicted in a dark green in Space Marine 2.
In the lore of Warhammer 40,000, there are numerous legendary units and individuals, not just the Dark Angels. The so-called Deathwatch, to which Lieutenant Demetrian Titus also belonged, holds a special status as it is not a normal chapter of Space Marines.
