In the Free2Play MMO Warframe , the new patch “The Second Dream” has been released for PC.
For PC players, the wait was over on Friday; fans of Warframe on Xbox One and PS4 will have to wait a while longer until the end of the year: The update “Second Dream” has been released.
This brings a new “Archer” Warframe Ivara, makes death less costly and provides a range of answers to player questions. Most importantly: “What is a Warframe, anyway?”
What the new Warframe Invara can do
The huntress Ivara sneaks up on her enemies and then strikes unexpectedly.
Her abilities are:
Quiver – Switches and fires one of four tactical arrows:
- Noise Arrow: Creates a defensive bubble that cloaks allies and protects them from attacks.
- Wire Arrow: Fires a zip line.
- Sleep Arrow: Puts the target into temporary sleep.
- Sound Arrow: Creates a noise upon impact that attracts enemies.
Navigator – Takes control of the projectile and guides it to the target.
Stealth – Becomes invisible, steals loot from unsuspecting enemies, and then attacks with increased headshot damage.
Artemis Bow – Summons a powerful bow and unleashes a devastating volley of arrows.
Highlight is the cinematic quest
Alongside numerous other changes to gameplay mechanics and the introduction of new missions, the focus of the update is on the story.
The highlight of the update, in the eyes of the developers, is the “cinematic quest”: The Second Dream. The Sentient Hunhow wants to destroy the Tenno once and for all…
