With Plains of Eidolon Remaster, the first open world of Warframe gets a visual upgrade. However, players are especially pleased with the changes to the economy.
This is Plains of Eidolon Remaster: Digital Extremes has revamped their first open world with Plains of Eidolon Remaster. The graphical enhancements are particularly eye-catching, bringing changes to light and shadow, more detailed trees and bushes, and a more nuanced day-night cycle.
In addition, there are changes to the terrain for all K-Drive fans, new floofs that our author Leya is so excited about, and new enemies with the Tusk Thumpers who may drop the new weapon Korrudo if you’re lucky. Players can also find the Korrudo on the market in Cetus.
Update 24.6.0 will be available for the PC version of Warframe starting April 5, with consoles to follow at a later date.
In our Warframe roadmap, find out what to expect in the shooter in 2019.
This is what players are saying: In the Warframe subreddit, players are excited that Plains of Eidolon can now keep up technically with the new open world from the Fortuna expansion. Fortuna recently added a second open world with some gameplay innovations that are now also being applied in Plains of Eidolon. For example, animals can now be rescued in the Plains, and floofs can be earned.

Players are excited about economic changes: Players are particularly pleased with the changes to the economy in the Plains of Eidolon and the associated city of Cetus.
For instance, Arkana blueprints at the Quills and Hok have been replaced with ready-made Arkanas. Players no longer have to craft these items but can get them directly from the NPCs.
Player Dioxety says on Reddit: “As someone with Mastery Rank 26, I can say that these economic changes reduce the grind in the Plains of Eidolon by at least 60%! It’s crazy how much that changes.”
Player guitarburst05 thinks that farming for arkana wasn’t the worst part for him, but rather the farming for fishing. Also, bait no longer needs to be crafted with fish parts but can be acquired through reputation.
