The new teaser trailer for Warframe announces the new story quest “The Sacrifice” for June. Then the space ninjas will finally learn what happened to their adoptive mother, Lotus. She disappeared in the epilogue of “The Sacrifice” with her former lover, Ballus, leaving the players behind.
The trailer shows a brief recap of the previous events. The viewer goes through the various stages that all players have gone through until the point of the new quest. We see, in fast motion, the quests that led to the point of “The Sacrifice”:
- The Second Dream: “This quest changed the way I see Warframe.”
- The War Within: “This quest showed me what helplessness means.”
- The Chains of Harrow: “This quest is pure horror, and I am the victim!”
- Postasy Prologue:
These are also the quests that everyone must have played who wants to start “The Sacrifice”.
The characters shown in the trailer belong to Warframe players: In the video, various characters, the Tenno, are shown. These are the children who actually control the Warframe battle suits. Alongside the Tenno, the account names, their Mastery Rank, and the playtime are displayed. For most here, this ranges between 2,500 and 3,000 hours.
