The new Warframe expansion “Plains of Eidolon” is coming soon to PS4 and Xbox One! Digital Extremes confirmed that the developers are close to bringing the DLC to the consoles. The final phase has begun.
Plains of Eidolon is a huge open world map with giant monsters and a day/night cycle featuring dangerous creatures. The DLC was released on PC in October. Since then, console players have been eagerly waiting for the new content.
Plains of Eidolon is likely coming this week to PS4 & Xbox
The “Plains of Eidolon” update is already in the certification process with Microsoft and Sony. To be released on the consoles, new updates must undergo a strict review process.
If the update is approved, it could be released on PS4 and Xbox later this week.
A specific release date for “Plains of Eidolon” on PS4 and Xbox is still pending – but: It is coming soon!
Today and tomorrow, a patch is coming that is supposed to prepare the consoles for the big update. However, this maintenance patch will likely NOT include Plains of Eidolon.
The patch includes:
- Relays
- Dojos
- Iron Wake
- Maroo’s Bazaar
During the update, hubs may function only partially. Those who can enter the hubs will not find other players there. Normal gameplay missions are not affected by the update.
- On the PS4, the update will be released today, November 7.
- On the Xbox, the update will be released tomorrow, November 8.
