After PC players of the online action game Warframe have enjoyed the content of the current update since the end of June, console users can now also experience Chains of Harrow.
The update introduces Warframe players to an exciting new mission. This is inspired by horror movies. You receive a mysterious message from Palladino, the spiritual medium of the Red Veil.
This message leads you to a mysterious Steel Meridian spaceship, which appears to be abandoned. Everywhere you find the bodies of the dead crew members. However, there is also an eerie whispering in the halls of the ship. You must find out what happened here and uncover the machinations of the Red Veil.
A new Warframe with many powers
Chains of Harrow also introduces the new Warframe “Harrow”. With this, you use the powers of the Void to strengthen the defense and attack of allies. You can also use these powers:
- Condemn – An energy wave holds your enemies back. Each marked enemy leads to a boost of Harrow’s shields.
- Penance – You sacrifice shields for the benefit of reload and rate of fire. Additionally, damage you deal to your enemies is converted into health for Harrow and nearby allies.
- Thurible – You can channel Harrow’s energy in the thurible to create a boost. The more energy is channeled, the longer the boost lasts. You receive additional energy for headshots.
- Covenant – You protect nearby allies with an energy field. This not only absorbs damage, but you also receive a bonus to critical hit chance.
This and much more comes with the Chains of Harrow update for everyone playing the online shooter Warframe on PS4 or Xbox One.
