At the press conference halfway through this year’s E3 2016, the “PC Gaming” press conference took place, where Warframe introduced the new game mode “Lunaro”. You can also get the free skin “Dulus” for the new Dark Split-Sword. What you need to do to get it, you can read about below.
Lunaro in Warframe
A few weeks ago, Digital Extremes introduced a new Conclave game mode for their online space shooter Warframe at Pax East. Now, as part of the E3 PC Gaming 2016 press conference, it was shown in vibrant moving images.
This mode does not revolve around guns and kills, but is intended to be more of a fun mode, a recreational sport in the Warframe universe, thus appealing to players who have not yet engaged with the PvP offerings of the shooter. It slightly resembles Rocket League or the sport Jai Alai.
A ball, two goals, two teams of four, and the characteristic Warframe parkour movement shape the new game mode.
From 1 to 3
Aside from the press conference, there were also announcements regarding plans to release Update 19 in several stages. Lunaro will be the first. This is expected to be available for PC players later this week.
The next step will be the complete overhaul of the star map and the Void Key system, the introduction of your own Kavats, and previously unmentioned surprises. This is expected to happen just a few weeks after the release of “Lunaro”.
Finally, everything culminates in the upcoming cinematic quest “The War Within”, where you will learn more about the mysterious past of the Grineer Queens. Additionally, as was done with the quest “Second Dream”, the universe is expected to be expanded, with game mechanics added and changed. The third update is expected to be released around the first Tenno-Con, which will take place on July 9.
