In Warframe , Movember is celebrated with some success. Last year, it made it into the Guinness Book.
Men are often reluctant to seek health check-ups, avoiding cancer screenings due to fears of “bending over” or a negative diagnosis, and they tend to lead inactive lives. The Movember initiative aims to combat this, raising awareness about the risks, and has been doing so successfully for many years.
Its symbol is not just any ribbon, but a powerful moustache.
The Free2Play MMO Warframe is also supporting this Movember campaign again this year. Last year, it raised just over $11,000 and set a world record for the “Largest gathering of people wearing fake moustaches in a video game simultaneously.”
Players can log into Warframe, receive a moustache for free, and four more are available for donations.
