The warplane MMO War Thunder has a new trailer.
In Eastern Europe, there is a different relationship to war and especially to World War II than here in the West or in North America. This is continually brought to our attention when we deal with World War MMOs like World of Tanks or War Thunder. We have already covered this in an article.
The new trailer for War Thunder was presented at the Russian Comic-Con, focusing on the battles between German and Russian troops during World War II and is (according to PcGamesHardware) dedicated to the “heroic defenders of Moscow and all other participants in the Great Patriotic War.” An aesthetic is applied that we in Germany associate with the glorified depiction of violence in fantasy films or historical battle spectacles, but not with World War II.
