Official intro of Fallout 76: Along with the announcement of the beta starting in October, Bethesda has released the official in-game intro of Fallout 76. The clip shows how the situation arose that players of Fallout 76 find themselves in.

What is Fallout 76 about? The intro explains that America sees war as the only way out of the current conflict and draws eerie parallels to historical events, such as the Cold War.
You are one of the survivors of the war and are tasked with ensuring that America is rebuilt and the spirit of humanity continues to live on.
What is Fallout 76? Fallout 76 is an MMO Fallout with survival aspects. You play alone or in a group and travel the vast West Virginia searching for materials for your base. The features are mostly “classic Fallout”:
- Attributes are enhanced through the “S.P.E.C.I.A.L.” system
- There are perks
- You can launch nuclear missiles
- You can play how you want – as a fighter or trader
Fallout 76 is designed for groups of multiple players, even though you can play alone. In a group, you gain more experience and you are less likely to be shot down by other players.
In Fallout 76, there are also some mechanics designed to protect new players and PvP opponents from unpleasant encounters.
When can I play Fallout 76? Fallout 76 will be released on November 14, 2018, for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The beta will be available for Xbox One on October 23, 2018, and for PS4 and PC on October 30, 2018.
