Anyone looking to put aside sword and shield and experience an MMO without violence should mark June 4th and 5th on their calendar. Because on these days the MMO Wander will be released.
June 4th is the release date for the PC version. You can then download the game via Steam and explore the mysterious island that serves as the setting for the game on PC. On June 5th, the version for Playstation 4 will follow. Wander is an unusual MMORPG because there are no battles.
You awaken on a mysterious island and explore it in the form of various creatures. Each being has different abilities. If you transform into a fish, you can explore the underwater world; as a griffon, you soar into the skies and can land on mountains. In addition to the release dates for the game on PS4 and PC, the new form Hira has also been unveiled. Hira is a human form that can interact with the animals. For example, you can ride on the back of a griffon as Hira, jump down from it, and land with a parachute.
Furthermore, the developers explain how communication with other players works. When you meet someone in a different form than the one you are currently using, the player also speaks a different language. To communicate, you must learn symbols found on stones in the jungles of the island. You can then communicate with other players by drawing these symbols. This happens on the Playstation 4 controller using the touchpad.
