The start of Season 3 of For Honor is approaching. A few days before, you can play the complete melee game for free on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
On August 15, the launch of the third season of For Honor takes place. This one is called “Grudge and Glory” and represents the largest content update of For Honor so far.
As announced by the PlayStation Blog, the start of Season 3 will be celebrated with a “Free Weekend” on the Sony console. This means that the weekend before, all players on PS4 can try the full version of For Honor for a few days.
Update: There will also be a free weekend on the other platforms.
Free Weekend for For Honor
Here is the info about the upcoming Free Weekend:
- Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC (also via Steam)
- When: From August 10 at 9 AM until August 15 at 2 AM (PS4 and Xbox One) and on PC from August 10 at 7 PM until August 13 at 10 PM.
- Preload: Starting from August 8 at 6 AM, you can download the necessary game data on PC and from the PlayStation Store
Since it is the full version, all multiplayer modes as well as the complete campaign will be available to you. All heroes and maps are playable. You can experience the eternal battle between knights, vikings, and samurai without restrictions over the weekend.
If you enjoy it and want to continue playing after the weekend, For Honor will be available for purchase with a 50% discount from August 10 to August 20. All your progress will be carried over. You won’t have to leave your hard-earned loot behind.

What content is coming in Season 3?
The third season is free for all players. It introduces two new heroes – the Highlander and the Gladiator – two new maps, a tournament mode, a higher gear quality level, and several new features and adjustments.
