In the new trailer for Halo Infinite it shows how heroes emerge in extreme situations. “Forever We Fight” brings back memories of popular marketing campaigns from the old Halo games.
With a mix of real actors and scenes with Master Chief, the video attempts to make a statement about human nature in extreme situations. Both in content and visually, the new trailer thus reminds of the popular trailers of past Halo games.
As YouTuber JarekTheGamingDragon says in the comments to the video: “This reminds me of Halo 3’s marketing and I couldn’t be happier” (via YouTube).
These comparisons are certainly pleasing to the developers at 343 Industries: The trailers for Halo 3 and Halo Reach were awarded by IGN as some of the “best trailers of all time” (via IGN).
Whether the campaign of Halo Infinite will be as popular as the already playable multiplayer will be revealed at the release on December 8, 2021. Specifically, those who are disappointed by Call of Duty or Battlefield this year should check out the multiplayer in the meantime.
