The big Season 1 starts on Wednesday, December 8th in the free Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone.

On December 8th at 6 PM it’s finally here: Call of Duty: Warzone launches into the “Pacific Update” with the new map “Caldera”. Additionally, the first joint live season with CoD: Vanguard starts – new content will also come to the game.
When can I play the new Warzone map? That depends on whether you purchased Vanguard or not:
- Access to “Caldera” with Vanguard: December 8th, 2021 – 6 PM
- Access to “Caldera” without Vanguard: December 9th, 2021 – 6 PM
I don’t have Vanguard, can I not play then for one day? Without Vanguard, you only have access to Rebirth Island starting December 8th at 6 PM. The small map remains in the game and will be available to you in the Vanguard graphics. All modes on Caldera will only be available starting December 9th.
