The new event “Dark Depths” in Apex Legends brings 40 new objects and a new arena map “Habitat”. From January 11 to February 1, you can unlock new sets by completing challenges.
The new map “Habitat” is one of the smallest of the many islands in the New Antilles archipelago. Due to a large population of Leviathans, IMC’s research teams established “Habitat 4” as a base to study the creatures. This was 100 years ago, and although the IMC has long since left the island, the giants still live on Habitat today.
In Habitat, you fight in the natural environment of the Leviathans’ breeding ground. One of the key areas is a large waterfall that has eroded the landscape, creating various elevations. So, you can look forward to many slides and quick escapes.
Additionally, you will find a cave and the nest on the map. In the nest, there are huge Leviathan eggs that you can use for cover, as the shell of the eggs can deflect projectiles. You will also find protection in the cave and can prepare for quick advances from there.
The Blitz events offer various prizes each week that you can earn by completing challenges.
