In Craft Attack 13, about 100 Twitch streamers come together, who have taken on large construction projects in groups. Florian “Varion” Kiesow is participating for the first time and prefers to carry out his builds alone.
Who and what is it about? Currently, the Minecraft Twitch project Craft Attack is running, which is in its 13th season. German-speaking Twitch streamers come together on a Minecraft server and play together.
Groups form, each pursuing different goals or massive construction projects. For instance, the group around HandOfBlood calls themselves “The Pillars” and is building a huge underground city. Trymacs has also teamed up with other Twitch streamers and wants to build an oversized golem out of copper with them. Their name is fittingly “Golems”.
One streamer has actively decided against playing in a group: Twitch streamer and YouTuber Varion. He has found his own area on the Minecraft server to implement his construction project alone. He is not doing this due to bad blood, but simply because he prefers to play solo.
Varion wants to build an entire city alone
What does Varion plan? Varion has made it his mission to recreate the harbor city of Khorinis from the game Gothic. The area he has chosen for this is vast, and the city itself is not too small in Gothic either. Varion does not want to recreate the city as a miniature but “life-sized”.

Besides active building, gathering materials is also very time-consuming. According to SullyGnome.com, he has already spent over 42 hours on the project in the last 30 days.
However, these are only the hours he has spent live on Twitch. A large part of the terraforming has been done offline by Varion, which further increases the actual hour count.

While building, Varion is not completely alone all the time. Even though he does not have an affiliated group, he still talks with other players.
Building can appear monotonous for both himself and his Twitch viewers. Therefore, Varion frequently chats with his Twitch colleagues on stream, discussing various topics with them.
Viewers who want to follow the construction project but do not have 42 hours of free time can catch up on the progress in edited form on Varion’s second YouTube channel Varion Live.
Craft Attack 13 and the game Minecraft itself offer players many opportunities to be creative. Trymacs also has his own way of playing the game. In addition to the construction project of a giant golem made of copper, he has specialized in another thing: While Twitch streamers build bases and have adventures, Trymacs pretends to play a different game in his Minecraft project
