Valve has secretly developed a new game: And it is now in DOTA 2 on Steam

Valve, the makers of Steam, have released a new game unexpectedly. However, it cannot be found on the in-house platform but is hidden in another game developed by them.

What kind of game is it? Valve released a new game on July 9 that cannot be downloaded directly from Steam. The new title is Sleet Fighter and is not only similar in name to the classic game Street Fighter.

Sleet Fighter by Valve is a fighting game featuring 5 characters that can be played both in single-player and online or offline in co-op mode. While the game is fully functional, it is not entirely complete due to the way you can actually play it.

A Fighting Game in DOTA 2

How can you play Sleet Fighter? Sleet Fighter is part of the DOTA 2 battle pass. The playable characters, Marci, Bristleback, Tusk, Vengeful Spirit, and Dawnbreaker, all come from the main game. While Sleet Fighter offers various abilities, skins, and a full list of moves, the extent of the title does not compare to its predecessor, Street Fighter.

However, Sleet Fighter is still completely playable and available for free to all in DOTA 2. To play, you first need to download and install the free DOTA 2 from Steam.

Then start the game and open the “The Glaciers of Ice March” section from Act 3 on the start screen. Before you get to Sleet Fighter, you must fight your way through the story until you reach the waypoint “Sleet Fighter 2: Immortal Combat.” This is located at the first fork to the left.

In the Servered Head Pub, you can then choose a mode and play in single-player or multiplayer, both online and offline. You can find the list of all moves by pressing ESC or F9.

Should the game be expanded? Sleet Fighter and the “DOTA 2” event are currently well received. Therefore, Valve decided to extend the event until October. Whether Sleet Fighter will disappear forever or if Valve will continue to work on it is still uncertain. However, there is speculation that this is just a test to gauge player reactions.

Valve is not the only game company working on a fighting game. Riot Games is currently developing the title 2XKO, which deliberately carries such a name: Riot Games’ new game has a strange name that many find silly – But there is a good reason for it
