He starts a company for a sustainable lifestyle
What did he do? The user wanted to earn as much money as possible in the shortest time and had indicated to the AI that he would have an initial capital of 100 US dollars. Under these conditions, he was able to start a company in just a few minutes.
He explains in a Twitter thread that he used the premium version of ChatGPT for the experiment. The AI suggested that he start a company called Green Gadget Guru.
His company was to specialize in offering advice and products for people who want to lead a sustainable lifestyle. He then purchased the domain for 10 dollars and rented a hosting service for the website for 5 dollars per month.
In the next step, he then began to specialize in green products:
- He used DALL-E to create images for his website. DALL-E is also an AI.
- Then he invested 36 euros to advertise his new business on platforms like Reddit, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Afterward, he participated in a partner program to sell reusable metal straws without having to buy them upfront. This earned him 1,266 euros in the first 24 hours.
- By now, he claims to own a company worth almost 23,000 euros.
We cannot verify the market value of his firm, but there is a website with the name of the company (via greengadgetguru.com). The whole website seems rather unremarkable overall, still has replaceable “Lorem Ipsum” text blocks in the layout, and lacks an imprint. However, it advertises eco-friendly products – even if only in one post.
Does this happen more often? It is not uncommon to make money with ChatGPT. An “ethical hacker” was able to earn 40,000 euros thanks to text AI. And he used the abilities of the text AI for that.
