A user made the find of the year at a pawn shop. A gaming PC at a bargain price. He shares his experience on Reddit and the community is ecstatic.
What did the player buy? The user uneektnt reports on December 8, 2025, in his Reddit post about his new gaming PC. The original price was $750, but he managed to negotiate it down to $600. This is roughly equivalent to 515 euros (as of December 9, 2025).
The user found the PC at a pawn shop with the following components:
- Processor: Intel i9-14900KF
- Memory: 32 Gigabytes DDR5 RAM with 6000 megahertz clock speed
- Graphics Card: According to the community, it is a Zotac RTX 4070 Ti Super Solid OC 16 GB
The case, power supply, and water cooling are present but unknown and not further identifiable. The internal storage and its size are also unknown.
With such a configuration, the user can smoothly play demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 in WQHD at about 80 frames per second (via YouTube). The YouTuber Testing Games tested a similar configuration on high settings with upscaling. How you can get more performance out of your PC with the technology, you can read on MeinMMO.
Memory alone would have been worth the purchase price here
Why is the deal so good? Due to the sharply rising prices of RAM, the included processor, and the graphics card, the user snagged a solid gaming PC at a bargain price.
We provide German comparative prices since we can’t identify which region the user is from. For the components included, you would have to pay about the following prices in Germany (as of 12/9/2025):
- For example, comparable 32 gigabyte memory costs about 550 euros, (via Geizhals).
- The processor is a high-end model from the last generation of Intel and is worth about 420 euros (via Geizhals).
- The graphics card is probably an RTX 4070 Ti Super and is no longer actively produced. Its used value currently lies between 500 – 700 euros (via eBay).
Thus, the user would have obtained a computer worth about 1,470 euros just from the RAM, processor, and graphics card. All other components have not yet been included. In Germany, value-added tax must also be added, which would make the price somewhat higher.
Community congratulates the lucky user
How does the community react? The community congratulates the user and discusses the rising RAM prices in the post:
- cha0ss0ldier says: “The RAM is almost worth as much as the whole system, cool find!”
- grimmigerpetz writes: “Man, you got yourself a 2K Ultra setup or 4K system for 600. The PC is worth at least 1,300 dollars.”
- Don-T-Bone says: “The system is a mega deal, we could never build a comparable PC for 600 dollars.”
Reddit users agree that the player got a very good deal. Besides envy and praise, the RAM price is an important discussion point for many users. However, the rising price can also become a curse, as another user had to experience firsthand: User swaps RAM for a graphics card, considers himself lucky until he sees the prices for memory
