The new Update 7 for Ghost Recon Wildlands is now available for download. Among other things, the helicopter controls have been changed.
Since Wednesday afternoon, Title Update 7 has been available for Ghost Recon Wildlands. The patch, which is about 8GB in size, has fixed a few issues and made gameplay changes. While you download the update, we will show you what has changed and improved in GRW.
Title 7 Update Patch Notes
The new Update 7 from August 23, 2017, is about 8 gigabytes on PC (Uplay 7.93 GB) – console versions may vary in size. Several bugs related to missions and graphics in the game have been fixed. New options include additional color options for the ghillie suits and camouflage options for CRYE tops and pants.
Furthermore, the developers apparently took the feedback regarding helicopter controls seriously. Many players have complained recently that the new helicopter controls caused many problems – especially when landing. More about this: Backflips – Helicopters going crazy!
Update 7 is supposed to fix the landing problems of the helicopters. A summary of the patch notes can be found here:
- Missions
- A bug has been fixed in the mission “La Granja” that caused you to spawn on Unidad soldiers after death
- A bug has been fixed in the mission “The Convoy” (Koani) that sometimes caused you to spawn in Itacua
- A bug has been fixed in the mission “Marcus Jensen” that sometimes disabled the mission when the escape vehicle was destroyed
- User Interface
- A new setting has been added that allows players to use the new helicopter controls without an interface
- A bug has been fixed that displayed the helicopter crosshair in all vehicles
- Gameplay
- The helicopter now has better control when flying just above the ground
- A bug has been fixed that sometimes catapulted helicopters into the air during takeoff
- You can now spawn purchased or reward-earned vehicles in offline mode
- Audio
- A bug has been fixed where submachine guns had no sounds
- Graphics
- Clipping issues in the character smith have been fixed
- Store / Customization
- Additional color options for the ghillie suits have been added
- Additional camo options for CRYE tops and pants have been added
- Narco Road
- A bug has been fixed in the mission “Electro Air Race” that caused the mission to hang at one point
- A bug has been fixed in the mission “Prophet on Wheels” that prevented you from approaching Arturo
- A bug has been fixed in the mission “Truck Off and Die” that did not grant mission completion
- Fallen Ghosts
- A bug has been fixed where the mortar danger zone was sometimes not displayed
- A bug has been fixed that did not show the distance to enemies
- A bug has been fixed that did not display sync shot numbers
- PC
- The stuttering of the reverse camera has been fixed
- The mouse control of the helicopter should now be disabled as planned after switching controls
- A bug has been fixed where Toby Eye-Tracking sensitivity options were not functioning
