The last weekend before Gamescom 2017 is here. An ideal time to joyfully play games. But which games are on your agenda?
Another week has passed and the weekend is tempting with plenty of free time. As always, the days off are perfect for diving into some MMOs for a few hours. For example, in Black Desert Online or the fun coop shooter Fortnite. And in WoW, a fashion show is currently taking place.
Games for the Weekend – Get Free Rewards
In the sandbox MMO Black Desert Online there are currently tons of rewards if you just log into the game. So if you need black stones and other stuff, just take a few minutes every day to start the game.
Guild members even get more loot if they are part of at least a medium-sized guild. Also, a new world travel event is coming up. So there’s plenty to do once you’re in the game.
Games for the Weekend – Off to the Fashion Show in World of Warcraft
In Blizzard’s online role-playing game World of Warcraft, the “Trial of Style” is taking place until Monday. Here you can showcase your transmog skills and create a cool, outrageous, or sexy costume for your orc, elf, or tauren.
In Dalaran at the transmog master, you can participate and assemble a fitting transmog costume with up to 5 other players in 2 minutes. After that, a ceremony follows to announce the winner, and as a reward, you receive “marks of the great style check,” which you can exchange for more cosmetic items.
What is the editorial team playing?
We from the Mein-MMO editorial team are busy gaming again this weekend. The following games are on our list:
- Leya won’t have much time to play since she is at a crime dinner with her relatives and has to investigate murderers. If she gets the chance, she will play Paladins.
- Schuhmann is almost done with Final Fantasy 14 Stormblood and just has one(!) area left to complete.
- Ttime is playing The Division due to update 1.7.
- Patrick definitely wants to catch a few birds in Pokémon Go. Time is running out!
- Cortyn didn’t want to reveal what she is playing.
I, Jürgen, will be playing a bit of Secret World Legends and Fortnite. I might also check out Foxhole if the Gamescom preparations allow it.
But enough about us, what are you playing this weekend? Let us know in the comments!
