In the military MMO War Thunder, there is the new update 1.75 “La Résistance.” For the first time, the tanks of France are introduced into the game. However, to play them, you must first unlock them or purchase them with real money.

If you want to play a French tank, you have two options. You can purchase a starter pack that includes a tank and goodies. The tanks available are the B1ter, M4A1 FL10, and AMX-13 SS.11. Alternatively, you can unlock access to the French test.
To do this, you must complete daily tasks with tanks of ranks III-VI with a battle activity of 70% or higher. For each task, you will receive a “Tank Strike Force Badge.” Unlocking access to the tester team requires you to collect 12 of the 40 available badges, allowing you to research and play all French tanks.
New Maps and Recon Mechanic
New maps include the “Maginot Line” for combined battles. In this map, you will receive a sector of the famous French fortress line against Germany, complete with bunkers, a small village, and a medieval castle. In the map “Middle East,” you will fight amid desert sands between a destroyed city and an oil refinery for dominance.
Light vehicles from all nations have received a new reconnaissance mechanic. The role of light tanks in team-based combat is supposed to be enhanced this way. These tanks can now transmit information about enemy vehicles to their teammates and assist allies with repairs on the battlefield.
Free Premium Machines for the New Year Marathon
During the upcoming holidays, pilots and tank drivers in War Thunder can obtain premium vehicles for free as part of the New Year marathon. For pilots, there are the P-40C from the USA and the Fw 190 A-8 as a trophy aircraft in the French aircraft tree.
Tank drivers can earn the British wheeled tank with turret AEK Mark II and a German Pz.Kpfw. Panther, disguised as an American tank destroyer M10.
The vehicles can be earned from December 22 to January 22. Additional potential rewards include boosters, badges, and 3D decorative elements.
