YouTuber Jidion “JiDion” Adams made headlines in January 2022 with his hate raid on popular streamer Pokimane and was subsequently permanently banned from Twitch. Since then, he has been at the center of several controversies. Now he traveled to TwitchCon EU: In Amsterdam, he was not welcome and was removed from the premises.
Who is JiDion?

However, his biggest controversy was the hate raid on popular streamer Pokimane, which led to his permanent ban from the platform just two days after becoming a Twitch partner.
These actions the 21-year-old directly converts into content for his now three channels on YouTube. So it’s not surprising that after his ejection from TwitchCon EU, held from July 16 to July 17, 2022, in Amsterdam, he reached out to his fans on Instagram.
In the livestream, JiDion announced on Sunday that he and a friend had stayed at the convention for four hours. But just as they were about to leave the premises, they got kicked out.

Still in the stream, it can be seen how an employee approaches the two and also asks the friend to return his ticket. He had violated the rules and they did not want him to be inside again.
JiDion’s objections that they had already paid and were in the process of leaving the premises were dismissed, and finally, the ticket was reluctantly returned. Since it was only a one-day entry, the loss is probably bearable.
Being “unwelcome somewhere” as a brand core
JiDion himself stated that it was all good, they had been inside and had a banger video. Footage of him at the convention has not yet been released.
However, the YouTuber announced that he is not finished yet. “See you in San Diego!” he shouted in farewell and urged Twitch to improve their security measures.
The brand core of JiDion seems to be misbehaving in such a way that he gets excluded from things – but he seems to cleverly capitalize on this treatment.
That there is indeed security at TwitchCon had to be experienced by a German Twitch streamer. He made a joke and was banned for 14 days.
