Multiple Twitch streamers were surprised by mysterious donations worth 1,000,000 dollars that never reached them. The error that caused this remains unresolved by Twitch.
How can you donate on Twitch? The world of live streaming on Twitch offers viewers various ways to support their favorite streamers.
These include paid subscriptions, the use of “bits”, and direct cash donations.
The preferred method is direct cash donations as they arrive at the streamers without deductions. Unlike subscriptions and bits, where Twitch retains a significant portion of the revenues, depending on the individual agreements between the platform and the streamer.

What kind of donations are these? Cash donations are a welcome support for most streamers. But recently, a mysterious problem has arisen. This could create the impression that some viewers suddenly have a wealth of millions.
Donations of 1,000,000 US dollars are circulating on the platform and confusing some streamers. However, the money does not reach any of the affected content creators.
The streamers are equally pleased and disappointed by these mysterious donations, which appear like a gift from the heavens. But ultimately, they dissipate like a dream.
“Bro, what the hell? How did you do that?” asks Forsen
Who has this happened to? One of the streamers affected by this confusing situation is the Swedish content creator Forsen. With 1.7 million followers on Twitch, he has made a name for himself over the years.
Forsen is known for his long career and remarkable projects. These include winning first place in a Twitch Rivals PUBG Invitational tournament in 2018 and epic Minecraft speedruns against renowned streamers like xQc.
How did Forsen react? On September 17, Forsen was interrupted during one of his Minecraft speedrun attempts. A user named “Furrsen” surprised him with a donation of 999,999.99 US dollars.
However, Forsen was skeptical and initially reacted with astonishment: “Bro, what the hell? How did you do that?” After a brief investigation, it became clear that it must have been an error, as the donation was not officially authorized by Twitch. The user had apparently circumvented system limits.
Still, Forsen praised the supposed donor for his creative initiative: “The first one who managed to do it, a big shout-out to him.”
Who else is affected? Forsen is not the only streamer to have encountered this puzzle. The LoL icon Jankos and other streamers were also surprised by supposed large donations that later turned out to be inauthentic.
Some of these donations came from anonymous accounts, with the user “Furrsen” now deleted from the platform.
How does Twitch respond? So far, Twitch has not made any official statement regarding this mysterious phenomenon. The affected streamers and their viewers, however, continue to hope for clarification.
In the meantime, the mysterious million-dollar donations remain an unsolved puzzle in the world of live streaming on Twitch, causing both excitement and confusion.
