A player was thrilled to encounter a kind-hearted Twitch streamer in ARC Raiders, but the game had other plans – because mercy alone won’t save you in this shooter.
What happened in the interaction between streamer and player? The Twitch streamer Jaryd “Summit1g” Lazar overwhelmed an unsuspecting player in ARC Raiders with a surprise attack, leaving the opponent with absolutely no chance to defend himself due to the sudden skirmish. The streamer himself realized this.
As soon as the opposing player was down, Summit apologized and decided to help the other Raider – he was in a good mood, stabilized him, and then began to move away from him. As if the interaction wasn’t nice enough, the other player began to express his gratitude… but unfortunately, this is not the happy ending of the clip.
“This is the kind of clips I want to see”
What happened after the supposed rescue of the Raider? The player didn’t want to leave the displayed mercy unaddressed and thanked the streamer, who then decided to turn around and look at him: “That was really damn cool, I appreciate that.”
But before he could finish, Summit saw something approaching behind the Raider. However, his verbal warning came a bit too late.
A pop, a small rolling machine described by MeinMMO shooter editor Dariusz as “ultra annoying,” appears in the hallway behind the Raider, where he had gone down. As he is on a bridge, the pop goes off and takes the player with it. The streamer has to watch as his freshly rescued buddy falls into the depths.

How should the streamer act? The Raider’s bad luck doesn’t leave Summit cold. He jumps after the player, who has already accepted the unfortunate – yet funny – situation and his fate. After a brief farewell, the streamer finishes off the player before he bursts out laughing.
The reactions under the clip on Reddit enjoy this situation, which not only pleases them but also makes some interested players want to try out ARC Raiders.
“This is the kind of clips I want to see here at [LivestreamFail],” writes Yonzyy, and Sixteenthspy is also thrilled: “Holy shit, absolute cinema.”
Fun_Foundation_6584 seems to have gotten the last push from the clip to test the shooter himself: “Alright, I’ll give Arc a chance.” However, Bitemarkz offers him a valuable piece of advice: “I made the mistake of trying Arc last week. Now I’ve been in it for 50 hours, and my family hasn’t seen me in days.”
The clip of the streamer highlights what kinds of interactions are possible in ARC Raiders and how they can influence the player experience when one engages with them. Based on the comments, this is an important point for interested players to even step into the game.
