The Twitch streamer Max “Trymacs” Stemmler demonstrated his driving skills when he drove through an emergency lane. He reported on the incident in the latest episode of his podcast.
Trymacs confuses lane: The Twitch streamer Trymacs was driving on the A7, where a rear-end collision occurred. Due to the accident, two slowly moving lanes formed. The cars moved to the side to create an emergency lane for any ambulances that might appear.
Trymacs wondered about “the third lane” and drove on it. He passed over 50 cars until he was aggressively honked at, as he reported in the latest episode of his podcast Offline + Ehrlich (on Spotify). Only then did the Twitch streamer realize where he was and merged back in.
However, Trymacs was not the only one who saw the emergency lane as another lane: Shortly afterwards, more cars drove past him, which he also honked out of the emergency lane.

Why does Trymacs find his behavior particularly bad? On the one hand, Trymacs finds his behavior particularly critical because if he saw someone else displaying such behavior, he would be very angry. “I would feel like punching someone if they did that,” he says in the podcast.
Furthermore, his car itself is the problem. A Porsche GT3, like the one driven by the Twitch streamer, attracts different attention. The color of the car, baby blue, is also rare. Other drivers around him might label him as an arrogant rich person who doesn’t feel the need to follow the rules.
It was already uncomfortable for Trymacs to merge late when, for example, he actually wanted to turn, but this situation was even more embarrassing for him.
