The Twitch streamer Blaire “QTCinderella” confused her fans with a video she uploaded on TikTok. In it, she talks about tips for fire safety in the kitchen, initially without any context it seems.
What tips does QTCinderella offer? In a TikTok video, the Twitch streamer seemingly out of nowhere and without any context, gives tips on what to do if there is a fire in the kitchen. She advises to stay calm, cut off the fire from further oxygen supply, and call the emergency number if the fire is too large.
She further states that if the fire could be extinguished by oneself, baking soda would be a good option to smother the fire. Here she emphasizes that one should not use flour. Finally, she stresses that one should listen to their gut feeling and it is better to call the emergency number once too many than once too few, and that a fire extinguisher is probably the best recommendation.
QTCinderella is a prominent Twitch streamer internationally. We present to you the most important female streamers on German Twitch:

Community seems confused: The comments under the TikTok seem confused, as the Twitch streamer posted the video without any context beforehand.
- NealiD writes: “My question is, what inspired you to make this video? Is there a clip to go along with it?”
- Jerell knows there must be context: “I watched the entire video without any context… but I know the context is missing.”
- MegaLink has a feeling that something happened: “Okay, so what happened 5-10 minutes before the recording of this video? I feel like this video came out of something.”
What is behind it? That QTCinderella suddenly gives tips for kitchen fire safety while baking is of course no coincidence, but her fans will only be informed in a later video. Here we see on TikTok a clip from her past baking stream in which her oven catches fire.
Here you can watch the clip on TikTok:
The Twitch streamer appears very nervous – she is not following her first tip – and initially does not really know what to do. She runs out of the frame to get a box of flour to extinguish the fire. But she doesn’t need to use it, as the fire is already out because it couldn’t burn further due to lack of oxygen.
She would have been better off not using the flour, but rather baking soda, just as she mentioned in her fire safety video.
Here the community finds the context they were looking for. Some cannot help but leave a cheeky comment, such as Isaac: “I saw this TikTok video on fire safety by a woman named Blaire. You should definitely check it out to prevent something like this from happening again.”
The baking and cooking streams of QTCinderella are so popular that the Twitch streamer already set a speedrun live on the platform. However, this caused quite a stir within the community, leading to a rule change: Twitch streamer QTCinderella breaks speedrun records with cookies, causing chaos in the community.
