His Twitch colleague prepared a special surprise for Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller, and it took place on another continent. Bastian “BastiGHG” is displaying an advertisement on Times Square in New York City to show it to Papaplatte.
Who is surprising whom and how? The Twitch streamer BastiGHG started his Twitch livestream as usual and was live together with Papaplatte. He pretended to just discover that you can watch the current events on Times Square in a livestream.
He lets Papaplatte search for the livestream as well. Just when Papaplatte wants to find another stream from Berlin, BastiGHG reminds him to have another look at Times Square. There, an advertisement features BastiGHG and Papaplatte. A jersey is being promoted.
Papaplatte is visibly surprised by the advertisement and asks: “Wait a minute, is this really real?” (Source: twitch.tv from minute 24:56). BastiGHG confirms it but later explains that the video is a loop. The advertisement was indeed displayed on Times Square, but a recording was made to show it to Papaplatte.
New Jersey for Soccer Team
What is the jersey for? The advertisement is for the new jersey of BastiGHG and Papaplatte’s soccer team. The soccer team Tiki Tacker “belongs” to the two Twitch streamers and plays in the Kings League.
The preparations for the new season of the Kings League will start this month in October, and BastiGHG says about their team: “The Tiki Tacker want to tackle again” (Source: twitch.tv from minute 25:21). According to BastiGHG, the design of the jerseys is inspired by the patterns of tacklers.

Papaplatte is already very excited for the upcoming games, as he says; however, there is still no start date for the games. With the jerseys, the players should be well-equipped already.
This is not the first time that the Twitch streamer Papaplatte is featured internationally.
