ARC Raiders also brings joy to many streamers on Twitch. They play the new extraction shooter live on the platform and showcase their skills to their fans. However, there are now accusations against the well-known streamer Shroud, as he is alleged to have cheated.
How did the allegations arise? In a clip, you can see how shooter pro Shroud plays ARC Raiders. He takes out an entire team with his shotgun in the scene by continuously moving forward at the right moment to shoot and moving back while the weapon reloads.
He can quickly eliminate the whole team, which causes a lot of frustration on the opposing side. In another clip from the perspective of the victims, you can hear them accusing Shroud of cheating.
Shroud can understand the allegations, even though they are false
How does Shroud react to the situation? The squad, which at that moment did not know they were fighting against Shroud, provided the streamer with their perspective. In it, you can see where the allegations are coming from.
From their perspective, you can hardly recognize Shroud himself. The effects in the game and the visual representation of him peeking around the corner make it difficult to actually see him. The streamer explains this himself while watching the clip:
“They just had no chance. I wiped them all out. They didn’t even see me. I just wobbled past. It’s just broken… they couldn’t even react.”
With the last sentence, Shroud himself is somewhat speechless. He probably didn’t even realize how his tactics look to other players and how suspicious it makes him.
