Why was the streamer so poorly prepared? In a new livestream on Twitch, the participant of 7 vs. Wild explained how her participation came about. She revealed that she wasn’t planned at all initially:
Yes, I know, I might have taken a spot from someone great, but I wasn’t planned. Then I was only scheduled last – so: don’t be so mad. It was very surprising for me too. I didn’t apply for it, but bam, then I was there and it was a huge deal.
She explains in the stream that the production had only contacted her one month before the suspension because another participant, who had been planned before, dropped out at the last minute. The Twitch streamer only stepped in at short notice.
How did her preparation go? On Twitch, the streamer explained that she spent the month she had for preparation mostly with doctor’s appointments. For a trip to the Amazon rainforest, some vaccinations as well as malaria prophylaxis are recommended.
Accordingly, the content creator had little time to learn survival skills. She explained in the livestream on Twitch that she mainly prepared by watching videos, precisely because there was no time for an actual crash course.
