Anissa “Anni The Duck” Baddour was one of the biggest streamers on German Twitch until serious allegations were made against her in May 2024. Her former best friend “Mowky” announced a detailed statement – now it’s here.

While Anni The Duck initially showed some understanding in her statement on X, she relativized many of her insights during her comeback stream. This eventually led Mowky to consider releasing a detailed statement after initially deciding not to, following Anni’s supposed understanding and the end of her career.

From toxic friendship to identity theft
In her video, Mowky reports what happened behind the scenes for a long time before her public reaction. The friendship with Anni The Duck was already supposed to have been stressful beforehand. Anni allegedly prioritized her needs over those of people around her and refused to have clarifying conversations.
In addition, Anni allegedly copied features from Mowky, including her hair color, headsets with animal ears, and the name of her cat,
Finn. Mowky says that the fans of her supposed friend were practically attacking her and accused her of copying Anni. This eventually led Mowky to change her own appearance.
Furthermore, the streamer uncovers contradictions in Anni The Duck’s statement video and comeback stream. For example, the number of her therapists changes during Anni The Duck’s narration. She also makes contradictory statements on topics like friendships and money concerns.

Anni allegedly spread serious claims
The most serious allegation is that Anni conducted a smear campaign against Mowky. She is said to have spread the following:
- Mowky is dangerous, has been physically aggressive, and throws objects around
- Mowky suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and takes strong medication – at the same time, she is said to refuse to take her medication
- Because she refuses to take the medication, Mowky is deemed insane and cannot be believed
- According to Mowky, Anni also claimed she had raped 3 men. The alleged victims were said to have known nothing of the accusations
These accusations are said to have never been clarified by Anni and had both professional and personal consequences for Mowky. The rumors were “carried by two managements,” and friends wanted to turn away from her.
The streamer also states that she now has significant fears about approaching people if it could be interpreted as sexually harassing.
What allegedly lay behind the outburst in May
The emotional outburst in May allegedly occurred after Mowky contacted the 3 affected men and learned that they knew nothing of the alleged rapes. She was reportedly very angry and eventually lost her composure when she was again asked about Anni The Duck during the stream.
Mowky denies that she consciously chose the timing to sabotage Anni’s collaboration with Sony for the new Garfield movie.
Additionally, Mowky addresses the allegations that Anni The Duck mistreated her cats. The animals were said to have suffered due to the frequent moves and the streamer’s constant absence, as well as the overall living situation.
Finally, Mowky urges not to idealize other people, especially those on the internet. Such parasocial relationships are dangerous because one never knows who one is dealing with and giving affirmation to.
