The X account of the German Twitch streamer was hacked. However, a hacker was able to quickly identify the culprits and exposed the three young men on X.
Who was hacked? It concerns the German Twitch streamer Isabell “Honeypuu” Schneider. With approximately 2189 average viewers in the past year (via sullygnome.com), she is one of the largest content creators on Twitch.
The hacker or rather hacktivist Nella utilizes her IT skills for a good cause on X and other platforms and was able to assist the Twitch streamer.
Honeypuu is among the most successful Twitch streamers in the German-speaking area:
Honeypuu allegedly promotes her own memecoin
How was the hack noticed? The community immediately noticed something was wrong based on a tweet. Honeypuu’s account posted on January 22, 2025, that her “Honeypuu Tokens” could be purchased from now on.

If you clicked on the link, you would be directed to a page where you would need to connect your crypto wallet to obtain the tokens. This was apparently a scam, likely intending to gain access to the viewers’ wallets.
Hacker comes to the rescue: The hacker and activist Nella wrote a info tweet on X, drawing attention to the hack. She mentioned that she was in contact with the Twitch streamer and urged the community not to respond to messages from the account. Above all, no links should be clicked.
Shortly after, Nella (via X) wrote that she had identified the three individuals. They were relatively easy to find and had used a typical “SIM swapping” method.
Nella named the three boys, displayed her chat history with them, and exposed them on X without revealing their identities.
Furthermore, Nella wrote (via X) that while Honeypuu had posted a TikTok video explaining the hack, she had deleted it again. The reason, according to Nella, was that Honeypuu needed a break from the situation. However, another video on the matter would follow.
Unfortunately, it occurs all too often that accounts of large Twitch streamers or YouTubers get hacked. The content creator HandOfBlood also fell victim to a hacking attack: YouTube channel of HandOfBlood disappears after a hacking attack, comes back – What happened?
