The Twitch streamer “sarahtoninx9” calls herself an E-Girl and is characterized by humorous and often not entirely serious content. However, when she distributed cans of “bathwater” at gamescom 2024, she had to face criticism.
What was that action all about? The streamer “sarahtoninx9” is relatively new to Twitch. She has been streaming regularly since the end of June 2024 and has already gained over 4,700 followers during that time.
At gamescom 2024, she attracted attention with an unusual action: She gave away colorful plastic cans that allegedly contained her bathwater.
What was behind it? In a post on X, the streamer explained that she is often compared to the controversial influencer Belle Delphine, who is likely known to many primarily for her “E-Girl bathwater”.
However, Sarahtoninx9 emphasizes that she does not offer any provocative content and wants to clearly distance herself from it. The bathwater action was an attempt to make people laugh, and she does not profit from it.

How did the action go? Apparently not as hoped. The streamer later reported that people had been gossiping about her behind her back at gamescom. She also received comments on X, referring to the action as “embarrassing” or “cringe”.
On August 26, Sarahtoninx9 finally released a video in which she explained, nearly in tears, how much it affected her to be constantly compared to OnlyFans influencers. She also doesn’t know how to approach the topic anymore.
The Twitch streamer also explains that the bathwater was not real: She filled it with a friend in a sink.
For the streamer, it was likely an attempt to be part of a joke that would have been made at her expense anyway. She wanted to shape the narrative, according to Sarahtoninx9. However, the hate that subsequently came pouring in caught her off guard.
In a later post, however, the streamer added that it really is “not that deep.” The negative comments combined with personal issues simply became too much for her. However, she also knows that she has to learn to deal with the hate (via X).
However, the streamer now has reason to be happy again, as her application to become a Twitch partner has been accepted. This means that nothing stands in the way of a big career as an E-Girl on Twitch, should her law studies not work out.
