The Twitch streamer Trymacs is upset about a private club where he and other German Twitch streamers were celebrating after an event by Red Bull. Because there, pictures were taken that he actually wanted to avoid in order to protect his younger viewers. But content creators Rewinside and Julia Beautix are even more upset than he is.
This was the situation:
- Some of the biggest Twitch streamers in Germany participated in a dodgeball tournament by Red Bull in Düsseldorf.
- The event took place on April 6, 2024, and Team Rewinside won.
- After the event, some Twitch streamers headed to a private club in Düsseldorf to celebrate. But it was not private at all.
Private aftershow party is much more public than streamers want
This is what Trymacs is angry about: In the current “Satter Hugo” video, some clips from the aftershow party are shown.
You can see that streamers are drinking and celebrating heartily.
As streamer Trymacs explains in his reaction to the video (via youtube), he wanted to avoid such images of himself showing him with alcohol: to protect his younger viewers:
“These are clips I wouldn’t publish in my vlogs and my content. But then there are private cameramen – FROM THE CLUB – who film it and put it online immediately. What a crap.”
He says it bothers him a lot. As a streamer, you rarely get together with other streamers, at least not in such large groups, and then at such an event, people make vlogs and photographers are everywhere. This way, you have no privacy at all.
In the future, he will stay away from such events and only celebrate with his football team alone.
Private club filmed and released videos
This particularly bothers him: Trymacs is especially angry that they went to a private club to be hidden from the public. But the club itself filmed with a good camera that even shows everything in the dark:
“What kind of shit club is this?”
The club then posted these videos online and achieved several million views on TikTok with them.
In this context, the previously kept secret liaison between content creators Rewinside and Julia Beautx came to light, which is now being reported on.
Streamer Rewinside also complained about the club. There, during a private party, he was filmed with a telephoto lens without his consent, and the pictures were then published.
Rewinside is also fed up: You eat a Berliner once.
Viewers show no understanding for the desire for privacy
Trymacs says he is shocked that no one has any understanding that such things should be private. On TikTok, people in the comments were unanimous that streamers have no privacy and one “should not feel sorry for millionaires.”
“That’s crazy. Just because they have been creating content for 10 years, entertaining people for free for 10 years, they shouldn’t have a private life? I find that so ridiculous.”
