The streamer ELoTRiX is known for his rants on Twitch. A recent outburst was not actually intended for the public and is now causing a discussion.
What does ELoTRiX have against smokers? During a joint stream with fellow content creator MontanaBlack, ELoTRiX apparently felt disturbed by the marijuana consumption of MontanaBlack’s staff. He said the smell made him feel sick and gave him headaches, according to the streamer.
In the background, ELoTRiX can be heard calling the staff member a “smoking loser” and complaining about “damn smokers”. The relevant stream clip was posted on September 18, 2024, on X, where it sparked a discussion.

What is being discussed? ELoTRiX’s comments are received very differently. Some users are also critical of (excessive) drug use and agree with the streamer. Others find such generalizations unfair and speak of hypocrisy: Those who are against marijuana must also be against alcohol.
A user named “Cannasseur” whose profile picture features a cannabis leaf writes: “Says the one who is paid by the money of small children and has no real job.” (via X)

In another clip, ELoTRiX admits that his comments were probably not intended for the public: He had tried to mute his microphone. Apparently, that didn’t quite work out.
The streamer also explains that the staff member had smoked 6–8 joints in 4–5 hours while working. He no longer considers that to be healthy consumption. You can watch the clip here:
ELoTRiX believes that most people defending the staff member also smoke a lot. He doesn’t seem to care much about criticism from that direction. Even in the comments under this clip, the streamer receives a lot of support.
Nevertheless, ELoTRiX seems at least somewhat understanding; the insult did not have to be said. Allegedly, he has also apologized to the staff member for it (via X).
