Since January 27, 2025, over 200 German-speaking Twitch streamers are playing Hardcore WoW Classic together. The so-called Sauercrowd guild is very popular in the community and more content creators want to join. Applications are now open, and one is particularly creative.
Where does the creator want to be accepted? The Hardcore WoW event in German-speaking Twitch is in full swing and is well received by the community. Over 200 participants are involved, but the demand for a spot in the guild continues. Even after the start, many other content creators expressed their interest in being part of the project.
Therefore, applications were reopened on January 4, 2026, as Metashi, one of the three founders of the project, announced on X. Under the hashtag #SauercrowdBewerbung, content creators of all sizes are posting their applications and reasons for wanting to join.
“You must be accepted!”
Who is the creator? In 48 hours, the content creator Max Osterholz took it upon himself on TikTok to create a short stop-motion film. For this, he first built a small Metashi out of silicone. He also tried to recreate the small details as accurately as possible and carefully painted the guild logo onto the elaborate costume.
He also added an opponent in the form of a skeleton and a background for a short scene. After 5 hours of recording, Max Osterholz edited the material and was able to present a clip that lasted 21 seconds.
