Before his switch to YouTube, Ludwig Ahgren (28) was one of the most successful streamers on Twitch. But it wasn’t always like this: His girlfriend Blaire (29), who streams under the name “QTCinderella“ also supported him secretly in the beginning of his career.
Who are the two? Ludwig was once the “golden boy” of Twitch. In 2021 he became the streamer with the most subscriptions due to his 31-day Subathon. Later that same year, he switched to YouTube because he “felt no love”. He is now successful there with events and even tried a new Subathon.
But before his big breakthrough, Ludwig had only a few viewers. His girlfriend, the streamer QTCinderella, secretly helped him.
The “Subs” which are paid subscriptions are an important means for streamers to earn money on Twitch.
QTCinderella even outdid herself
How did QTCinderella support her boyfriend? In a video made during his Subathon in 2021, which recently appeared on TikTok, the streamer revealed that she anonymously purchased at least 600 gift subscriptions for Ludwig’s channel.
At a price of $4.99 per sub, that currently amounts to more than 2,700 euros that QTCinderella spent to cheer her boyfriend up. The Twitch streamer explained that back then he might have had 300 viewers and was very sad.
Once, QTCinderella reported, she even sparked a kind of competition: When she herself gifted 20 Subs, she anonymously added 25 more. Suddenly, someone from the chat gifted 50 subs, which she countered with another 100 anonymous subs.
For Ludwig, this was all obviously new: “So you were responsible for 2/3 of the total sum? Oh my God.” He urged his girlfriend not to spend money to make others happy.
However, QTCinderella was undeterred: “But it worked, you were so happy.”
For many TikTok users, the clip perfectly illustrates their relationship. They rave about the sweet and selfless nature of the Twitch streamer. We have gathered some comments for you:

While many content creators like xQc or MontanaBlack stand out with their somewhat rough and unfiltered statements, Ludwig is extremely successful with a clean image. In Germany, it’s Gronkh, who is more noted for positivity than scandals. But that doesn’t protect against accusations:
