With over 6 million followers, Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa (29) is one of the most successful female streamers on Twitch. She has now been surprisingly banned; the reasons are unclear but may be related to current conflicts.
Why was Amouranth banned? This is still unclear. She has already received six bans on Twitch (via Streamerbans), each lasting no longer than a few days. A visit to her widely-followed channel shows the familiar message displayed after bans on the platform:
“This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
The ban came just days after her last stream
What is surprising about Amouranth’s ban? She last streamed on May 1, and the ban occurred just three days later. It is speculated that her suggestion to Adriana Chechik to resolve their conflict in a boxing match could have led to this. Chechik has previously publicly disparaged her streaming colleague.
The Community Guidelines of Twitch state that expressions of violence and threats of violence may lead to a ban.
Previously, Amouranth was particularly known for her bikini streams and ASMR content on Twitch. However, she also has a significant reach on OnlyFans and Twitter.

What impact has this had on Amouranth? After her separation, she was pleased to be able to shape her streams and free time according to her own designs. She planned to get more sleep and stream gaming.

However, this was not the only planned change. Most recently, the successful streamer has been reconsidering a content refresh. She announced that she is in talks with OnlyFans about “family-friendly” content for an offshoot of the platform.
How has Amouranth reacted to the ban? So far, not at all. There has been no statement on any of her public social media platforms regarding the Twitch ban. Her last tweet was posted after the ban, showing a photo of the streamer. Above the photo, she asks: “Hey?”.
The Twitch competitor Kick responded with a “heyy”. A Twitter user commented: “I see what you are doing here.” On Kick, streamers showcase content that has now been banned on Twitch.
