The Twitch streamer Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler talked in a podcast episode about a public dispute he had with another content creator regarding the game Clash Royale 9 years ago.
Who did Trymacs have a dispute with? The Twitch streamers Trymacs, Varion, and unsympathischTV have been touring with their podcast Offline + Ehrlich in recent weeks. During their stop in Leipzig, the three – together with their guest, Twitch streamer Maximilian Schradin – talked about their “arch-enemies”. With this designation obviously exaggerating, they mentioned people they just couldn’t stand.
In this context, Trymacs mentioned the content creator Tobias, also known as Tobi SpiritHawk. About 9 years ago, the two had a public dispute that lasted for approximately 1.5 years.
Dispute over Clash Royale
What was the dispute about? Many years ago, Trymacs invited his colleague Tobi SpiritHawk to his streams when Trymacs was still a smaller streamer with about 400 viewers. Tobi SpiritHawk was a very good player in Clash Royale, according to Trymacs, who supposedly offered him tips on various decks during his streams.
When Tobi SpiritHawk then returned to his own stream, Trymacs reports that Tobi SpiritHawk allegedly spoke poorly of him. According to Trymacs, Tobi SpiritHawk was upset about why Trymacs had so many viewers despite supposedly not being able to play the game very well. At some point, this escalated to Tobi SpiritHawk insulting Trymacs.
In the Twitch guidelines, it is established that Twitch streamers should treat other users politely and respectfully. Under point 11: Politeness and Respect in the community guidelines on safety.twitch.tv, Twitch considers insults to be a violation of these rules.
Trymacs was also aware of this regulation. The insult directed at him from Tobi SpiritHawk was supposedly clipped and then forwarded to Twitch by Trymacs’ moderators. As a result, Tobi SpiritHawk received a 1-week ban from Twitch.
When Tobi SpiritHawk returned to Twitch, he was apparently even angrier, according to Trymacs, which supposedly led to a permanent ban on the platform.
Since then, Trymacs has had no contact with Tobi SpiritHawk. The dispute between the two content creators occurred 9 years ago and seems to have settled by now.
Meanwhile, Tobi SpiritHawk mainly streams the game Clash Royale on TikTok, and it seems that he and Trymacs have nothing to do with each other anymore. While Trymacs still dedicates himself to Clash Royale, he is currently more immersed in Minecraft, which is due to the current project Craft Attack 13: While Twitch streamers build bases and experience adventures, Trymacs pretends to play another game in the Minecraft project
