Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler is very successful on Twitch. In a stream, he briefly considered when would actually be the right time to retire.
Why is Trymacs only on Twitch for fun now? In a past livestream (highlight on YouTube), Trymacs reacted to a video by YouTuber Klengan. It is about TV host Stefan Raab and his comeback to television.
Trymacs revealed, among other things, that he only streams on Twitch as a sort of pastime, meaning for fun. The reason: he is already financially secure. Therefore, Trymacs is no longer “forced” to continue streaming. However, he seems to enjoy his job on YouTube and Twitch so much that he does it willingly.

When does Trymacs consider retiring? Trymacs transferred the difficulties associated with the lack of desire to retire, as discussed in the video by Klengan, to himself.
Although the Twitch streamer has no financial worries anymore and only does Twitch for fun, he is afraid of the right timing for retirement. On one hand, Trymacs wants to work as a content creator for as long as possible, but at some point, “enough is enough.”

Together with his Twitch chat, he continues to contemplate, as one of the viewers suggests “At 50.” That would leave Trymacs 19 more years of streaming, which he initially finds acceptable.
However, the Twitch streamer then states that 50 is not that old, after all, Maximilian Schradin is still active on Twitch. For comparison: Maximilian Schradin is 47 years old.
How long Trymacs will remain active as a content creator remains to be seen. In the Twitch scene, as we see from some examples, there is not only room for young people. And who knows, maybe Trymacs will still want to stream on Twitch even in retirement.
Trymacs might not even have to worry about his Twitch retirement if he had taken a completely different career path.
