The free-to-play MMO Trove is a huge sandbox where players possess seemingly endless freedoms and can interact with the world in various ways. The building game from Trion Worlds not only contains typical elements of the game genre but also features a plethora of online RPG elements, which makes it an MMORPG. This is a unique selling point that the developers want to differentiate from the competitor Minecraft. The beta phase has ended so that the game is now officially accessible and also available on Steam. The entire world in Trove grows organically, is procedurally generated, ensuring variety. To keep you from getting bored in the seemingly endless world of Trove, numerous raids and adventures are at your disposal. Whether you play alone or together with friends is entirely up to you - there is content for both solo and group players. Everywhere in Trove, you can build and destroy your surroundings. You obtain items, among other things, through a crafting system. You can choose your character from a total of nine different character classes. Among other options, you can choose between a boomeranger, pirate captain, or candy barbarian. Just as quirky and lovable as the character are the means of transport in the game. Dragons, hoverboards, wings, and ships bring variety to gaming life. All game elements in Trove, referred to as voxels, are blocky and can be combined in any way. Thus, there are no limits to your imagination in the colorful world.
