A new trailer has been released for Tree of Savior, a free-to-play MMORPG, showcasing the starting classes.
Tree of Savior is considered the spiritual successor to Ragnarok Online, a game that is still very popular among fans today.
Nexon, the publisher of Tree of Savior in Japan and Korea, has released this new trailer, which shows gameplay of the 4 starting classes: Archer, Cleric, Swordsman, and Wizard. A total of 80 classes are expected to emerge from these 4.
The first closed beta will begin in Japan at the beginning of October (don’t worry, Korea is already much further along). The number of participants has been increased from the original 1000 to 2000.
There is currently no news on a possible Western port. The situation regarding a Western release of Tree of Savior is a bit complicated. Although they are developing, partly crowd-funded, an “English-language global version”, they are still looking for a publisher.
