Hasbro and Tencent are working on a Transformers game that resembles Overwatch. The beta for Transformers Online is expected to start soon in China.
The ChinaJoy is coming, the major gaming convention in China, and some information about exotic games is coming in like Lost Ark or Lineage Eternal. Tencent Games has partnered with Hasbro to create “Transformers Online”, a new online shooter that looks quite like Overwatch.
Megatron, Optimus Prime, and more are all included
Players will be able to control iconic heroes or villains like Megatron, Optimus Prime, or Bumblebee. Transformers Online aims to ensure that the heroes closely resemble their counterparts in combat style, personality, and abilities.
There will be 2 factions. Confirmed Autobots include: Jazz (melee fighter), Bumblebee (assassin), Ratchet (supporter), and Bluestreak (sniper).

Now they want to present the game at ChinaJoy, revealing more details, with a closed beta set to start on August 5 in China. Let’s see if the game can establish itself among the fans of the franchise: An “earlier” Transformers game “Transformers Universe” by Jagex, which had some aspects of a MOBA, was discontinued after a short time.
Currently, nothing is known about plans for Transformers Online in the West.
