How much do the tickets for 2025 cost? The Reddit user DonaldMick did some calculations and found out how much money you could spend on each event ticket of Pokémon Go. In a detailed list, he named each ticket for the twelve months and their total price.
A total of 104 smaller event tickets were offered. Together with the four major events, the Reddit user calculated a total of 548 dollars, which would be approximately 467 euros.
What shocking discovery did he make? The 467 euros are already shocking enough. The trainer also realized that with this amount, one could buy a Switch 2, the latest console from Nintendo. Currently, the console costs 459 euros on Amazon (as of December 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM).
Most tickets are considered unnecessary by the community
Why are most tickets considered unnecessary? In the comments of the Reddit post, some players from the community wrote that many of these tickets are rather unnecessary.
The Reddit user krispyboiz writes that it is an interesting but also shocking analysis and notes: “As scary as this total amount is, I still think one should acknowledge how easily most tickets and passes can be skipped.”
According to the trainer, you receive many of the additional items from the tickets while playing Pokémon Go for free. In total, over 500 other players agreed with him (as of December 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM).
Even the Reddit user EMPTY_SODA_CAN bought most of the tickets for Pokémon Go before his unemployment. After the trainer had to pay more attention to his spending, he found out that he didn’t miss many ticket contents.
