In the producer’s stream for Final Fantasy XIV, the new skills were showcased. These are new abilities that players will receive in Shadowbringers, the new expansion of Final Fantasy 14. And the abilities are stylish.
What can be seen in the trailer? The trailer explosively demonstrates the abilities that players will receive in the upcoming expansion Shadowbringers.
In addition to many old skills that have been revamped, there are also several new abilities. And while they all have cool animations, some of them were absolute highlights for players:
- Dragoon learns an ability from the giant dragon Nidhogg. The fight against Nidhogg is regarded as one of the most exciting and well-staged.
- Summoner gets the new pet Phoenix. Phoenix is also strongly rooted in the story of FFXIV.
- The Dark Knight, on the other hand, summons a shadow of themselves, which players quickly recognized as the NPC Fray. He plays an important role in the job quests of the Dark Knight and is popular among players.
- The Scholar receives an ability that allows them to summon the Seraph, who assists them in healing.
- The Machinists will be able to summon their own robot, who will fight alongside them for a short time. The job has been revamped for Shadowbringers and is now intended to provide a stronger “machine feeling.”
More information about the changes to jobs and the new abilities will be available from May 29.
