On Thursday, September 27, Epic released the trailer for the new season in Fortnite Battle Royale. In October, people around the world celebrate Halloween, and Fortnite is likely embracing this theme. A haunted castle is at the center of the map changes. There is also a familiar skin, which is considered extremely rare. Will Epic bring this back to the shop?
The theme of the new Season 6: The new season starts under the motto “Darkness Rises.” It will be dark and somewhat spooky. We have the German patch notes for Update 6.0 in Fortnite here for you.
What can players expect? As Epic explains, mysterious things are said to have changed on the Fortnite map. Players are expected to discover ghostly secrets and unpack a new battle pass.
Special places on the map: In the video description, the locations Wailing Woods, the corruption of the purple cube, and the haunted castle are particularly highlighted. You can expect exciting things to discover.
What do the fans say about the trailer? Excitement over Skull Trooper
The Skull Trooper with popcorn: This is an important detail for Fortnite fans, as this skin is extremely rare. And thus also popular.
What makes it so special? This skin was available in 2017 only for a short time for Halloween and not again after that. In October 2017, the Fortnite Battle Royale fanbase was not that big yet. This means only a few players secured this skin. Accounts with this skin are traded on marketplaces like Ebay for over €100.
What is new now? Thanks to the trailer, many players believe the skin will come back to the shop. This is not confirmed, however.
