The next Spotlight Hour in Pokémon GO is just around the corner, bringing you a lot of Stardust.
What kind of event is this? The Spotlight Hour is a short event lasting only 60 minutes. It occurs every week on Tuesday. You can expect at least one featured Pokémon and a bonus.
In the next Spotlight Hour, you can expect Sableye. And the event comes with a bonus that can grant you a large amount of Stardust in combination with the Pokémon.
Spotlight Hour on November 17, 2025 – Start and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? As usual, the Spotlight Hour starts at 6:00 PM. After an hour, it ends at 7:00 PM.
What bonus is active? If you catch a Pokémon during the event, you will receive double the amount of Stardust. It does not matter which Pokémon you catch: The bonus is active for every catch.
Can you catch Shiny Sableye? Yes. If you get lucky, you can also obtain Shiny Sableye. However, the chance for this is not increased.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? Definitely. Sableye is among the Pokémon that reward you with more Stardust when you catch it. Regularly, you receive 750 Stardust per catch.
Since the amount of Stardust is doubled during the event, you will receive even 1,500 Stardust per catch.
If you also activate a Star Piece for this, you can increase the amount to a whopping 2,250 Stardust for each individual catch. Thus, you can accumulate a significant amount of this valuable resource within the 60 minutes. Using Lures and Incense, you can further increase the number of Pokémon that appear during the event.
As a fighter, Sableye is not particularly suitable. In the Great League, you will find the Pokémon at least in the middle of the best Pokémon. You should completely avoid Sableye in Raids.
