The next Spotlight Hour is coming up in Pokémon GO. Don’t miss it.
What kind of event is this? The Spotlight Hour is a 60-minute event that takes place every week on Tuesday. You can expect at least one Pokémon that will appear almost everywhere during this short event. Additionally, the event is accompanied by a bonus.
The next Spotlight Hour features Trubbish. The Pokémon combined with the bonus means you shouldn’t miss this event.
Spotlight Hour on September 9 – Start Time and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? As always, the event starts at 6:00 PM. It will end at 7:00 PM.
Which bonus is active? Every Pokémon you catch during the Spotlight Hour will give you double the amount of Stardust. The bonus is a strong enhancement for Trubbish. This Pokémon is one of those that, by default, gives you more Stardust for each catch.
Each one gives you a whopping 750 Stardust. Combined with the bonus, this means you get 1,500 Stardust for each catch. If you also use a Star Piece, you can increase this amount by another 50%, allowing you to get 2,250 Stardust per catch.
If you make full use of the Spotlight Hour and catch Pokémon for the entire 60 minutes, you can earn a considerable amount of Stardust.
Can you catch Shiny Trubbish? Yes. The Shiny variant of Trubbish is also active in the game and can be caught by you. However, the chance of encountering it is not increased during the Spotlight Hour.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? Definitely. As mentioned earlier, you can use the event to collect a nice amount of Stardust. This is especially needed in the game to strengthen your Pokémon or to teach them a second Charged Attack.
If you want to use Trubbish and its evolution, Garbodor, for battles, you should reconsider that plan. Both Pokémon are not exactly among the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.
