2 strong attackers return for 6 hours in an event in Pokémon GO. If you haven’t gotten them yet, you shouldn’t miss them.

What kind of event is this? On Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the Hyperbonus: Prime Raid Day will take place. This is the third event that was made available as a reward during this year’s GO Fest by trainers worldwide.

The event not only brings you 2 strong attackers with adventure effects back, but also offers you an increased chance to obtain both as shiny.

Which monsters are there in the event? In the event, you can challenge, defeat, and catch Dialga and Palkia in their primal forms in raids. You will also benefit from an increased shiny chance with both monsters.

Additionally, Dialga can learn the exclusive charged move Temporal Noise, while Palkia can learn the move Spacial Rend. Both moves are also adventure effects that you can also use outside of battles.

Currently, you cannot obtain either move via TM. If you are missing them, you can use the event to hopefully get one of each with the corresponding moves.

What bonuses are there in the event? The following bonuses are also active during the event:

• increased chance of shiny specimens
• up to five additional free raid passes by spinning gym stops
• 50% more experience points after raid battles
• increased chance of XL candy for raids on-site (from level 31)
• increased remote raid limit (from Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 PM to Monday, August 11, 2025, at 5:00 AM)

You can only have one free raid pass at a time. To get the next one, you need to use the one you previously received. After that, you can get the next pass by spinning a gym stop.

Event Ticket: For $4.99 (approximately €5), you can also purchase an event ticket. You will receive the following bonuses:

• 8 additional raid passes through gym stops
• guaranteed XL candy in raids (from level 31)
• three times the experience points for raid battles
• double star dust for raid battles
